About
In 2017, Tree Design Co, urban design and creative studio now co-owned by Travis & Ansley Crabtree, began a design and development project to adapt an abandoned pipe plant in Jackson, Mississippi into an urban destination. In 2023, the couple released the brand identity as The Plant Venue — an industrial warehouse transformed into a private event space featuring modern interiors, sustainable architecture practices, and interior plantscapes. The design ethos springs from a biophilic design approach in both the interior plantscapes and exterior landscapes — highlighting and preserving native plants and habitats outdoors while curating and nurturing a unique indoor plant palette.

The Plant Venue Design & Development
Ansley has spent the past two years crafting unique interiors and plantscapes, documenting the design/build process, and developing the brand identity for The Plant Venue. Moving forward, her role includes creative direction, marketing and social media management, booking management, web development, and strategic planning.
